The Education Department of Chandigarh Administration has issued a recruitment notification for the position of Junior Basic Teachers (JBT) for the year 2024, under Advertisement No. 6/2023. Online applications are invited from qualified candidates to occupy 396 vacancies of Junior Basic Teachers (JBTs) or Primary Teachers, Class V, on a regular basis. The online registration process for the Chandigarh JBT Vacancy 2024 commences on 24th January 2024, with the deadline for submission of applications set for 19th February 2024.

Chandigarh JBT Eligibility Criteria 2024:

Age Limit:

✔️ Between 21 to 37 years as on 01/01/2024.
✔️ The upper age limit is relaxation as per Govt. of India/ Chandigarh Administration Rules.

Educational Qualifications:

(1) Bachelor’s Degree / Graduate or its equivalent qualification.
(2) Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) of not less than 02 years duration.
(3) Pass in Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) conducted by NCTE.

How to Apply Chandigarh JBT Primary Teacher Recruitment 2024:

• Applications for Chandigarh Primary Teacher (JBT) 2023 can be submitted only through the Online Mode via the Chandigarh Administration Online Portal (nltchd.info/utjbt24rect/) from 24th January 2024.
• The Candidates are required to fill in basic details such as Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Contact No., verify their Email ID using OTP, verify their Mobile number using OTP sent, Aadhaar Number, etc.
• The Candidates should upload soft copies of scanned photographs, signatures, thumb impressions, and other required documents.
• The last date for the closing of the online application is 19/02/2024, up to 05:00 PM.
